Membership Cancellations

How to Cancel

Members may cancel their membership at any time by logging into their account at https://risengrindgym.com and selecting the cancellation option in their account settings.

Cancellation Timing

• Cancellations submitted before your next billing date will prevent future charges
• Your membership remains active until the end of your current paid billing cycle
• No partial refunds are provided for unused days within the current billing period
• Access to gym facilities terminates at the end of the paid period

Notice Period

We require 15 days advance notice for cancellation. Cancellation requests received less than 15 days before your next billing date will result in one additional billing cycle charge.

Refund Policy

Non-Refundable Fees

• Annual Maintenance Fee ($65): This fee is charged annually and is non-refundable under any circumstances
• Partial Month Refunds: We do not provide prorate refunds for partial months of membership
• Processed Payments: Once a membership payment has been processed, it is non-refundable

Refund Exceptions

Refunds may be considered only in the following circumstances:

• Billing Errors: If you were charged incorrectly due to a system error
• Medical Circumstances: Supported by documentation from a licensed physician indicating inability to use gym facilities
• Relocation: Moving more than 50 miles from our facility, supported by proof of address change

All refund exception requests must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the charge in question.

Processing Timeline

Any approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days and credited to the original payment method.

Membership Freeze

As an alternative to cancellation, members may request to freeze their membership for:

• Minimum period: 1 month
• Maximum period: 3 months per year
• No billing occurs during freeze period
• Annual maintenance fee still applies

Freeze requests must be submitted at least 7 days before your next billing date.

Disputed Charges

If you dispute a charge with your credit card company without first contacting us:

• Your membership will be immediately suspended
• You may be subject to a $25 administrative fee
• Access will not be restored until the matter is resolved

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve billing concerns.

Texas-Specific Rights

Under Texas law, you have the right to cancel certain health spa or gym contracts. This policy complies with Texas Business and Commerce Code requirements for membership services.

Changes to This Policy

Rise & Grind GYM LLC reserves the right to modify this cancellation and refund policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and apply to all memberships going forward. Continued use of our services after policy changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
